About Our Owner

Simpson Builders has been in business since 1994 and is owned and operated by Mark Simpson. Mark, a Louisville native, attended St. Xavier High School and graduated from the University of Dayton with a degree in Civil Engineering.

Drawing from his years of experience as a civil/structural engineer, Mark brings quality craftmanship and unique design to his homes. He provides a superior level of professional building service to both the custom home and remodeling markets. Mark takes great pride in creating a home to match his customer's dream.

Mark is an active member of the Building Industry Association of Louisville where he was named Builder of the year in 2020.  He chaired the Registered Builder Committee for 9 years, teaches the Blueprint Reading and Construction Technology courses, and served on the Board of Directors for several years, culminating as President of the Association in 2018.  Mark and his wife, Katy, reside in Crestwood.​
